Marie McNair:  Nassau County Baha’i Center located at 11 West Jamaica Avenue, Valley Stream.  Marie is the current chairperson of the committee.  She is a retired elementary teacher who serves the Baha’is of Long Island and the Northeast region in various capacities.  Her interest and participation in the community-building activities taking place at the Baha’i Center bring her to Valley Stream on a regular basis and are the foundation for her involvement in the community.  

David Sabatino: Born, raised, and continues to live in Valley Stream - the community he loves.  Co-owner of Sip This (www.SipThisNY.com) a coffeehouse on Rockaway Ave and active in several community organizations.

Debbi Gyulay: Former President of the Valley Stream Chamber of Commerce and current Vice President- Debbi is a lifelong Valley Stream resident and the current president of the Valley Stream Chamber of Commerce, serving her third term in that office. The Valley Stream Chamber is a organization composed of businesses, community organizations, schools, healthcare facilities and houses of worship.  The chamber's focus is to strengthen the business community through networking with each other and the community. The Chamber is happy to once again serve as the major sponsor of the Community Fest.

Tony Spezio - Tony is an honoree of the TOH 2014 Make A Difference Award. He has lived in Valley Stream for 30 years with his wife, Jane, and his son, Anthony. He has been a coach with the VS Blessed Sacrament League and past president Central/Memorial PTSA. Since his retirement from AT&T after 33years, Tony is the VS Teacher Center President, VS Health & Wellness member and one of the founders, volunteers at the Memorial J.H.S. school store.

James Giordano: Former program Director of the "Design Your Future Program" at Community of Unity and current college counselor at Saint Joseph High School in Brooklyn, James has been a resident of the Gibson neighborhood of Valley Stream for 10 years where he resides with his wife and two children.  James has been a counselor in a variety of settings for the past 17 years and has recently worked in a Bronx Public School as a school counselor for 6 years.  James is the President and founder of Admissions and Aid Consulting LLC, providing a variety of educational consulting services to individuals and organizations.  James's web sites are www.askthecollegecounselor.com and www.admissionsandaid.com. 
 
Kelley Eberhardt: Kelley Eberhardt is the Marketing Manager for Portada, www.portada-online.com, the leading source of news and analysis on the Latin Marketing and Media Space. In her spare time she likes to stay active in her community exploring new places to eat (especially bakeries) and relaxing at the beach. 

Annette Gray: Annette is in her 25th year with Verizon servicing the National Service Industry Group; she is also a Verizon Foundation’s VIP Rep who volunteers 100+ hours of her time each year and is awarded $1500 to which she donates to a non-profit organization of her choice. She coordinates and spearheads several campaigns for the Verizon Foundation such as, “Tools for School”, “Shower for Shelters”, “Hope Line” (the Domestic Violence program) & “Dress for Success” for W.A.V.E. Annette joined the Central Memorial PTSA and created the Holiday Boutique & Craft Fair. For 7 years, she increased their fundraising efforts for the Scholarship Dinner Dance & Fashion Show as the Event Chair. She is currently the Valley Stream CHS District Coordinator for the “Prom Boutique”; this Prom dress giveaway brings over 250 girls each year from the district to help parents offset the expense of Prom.  Annette is also involved in the VS Democratic Club, serves on a Village Board & has recently become the Valley Stream Police Activity League President.  She has received several Citations & Awards from Verizon, her Valley Stream Community& her former Brooklyn community. She is always interested in serving her community and helping others.

Christopher J. Vela: Born and raised in Valley Stream, he has worked for the Village since he was 16 and has had a very enjoyable career.  He is now the Deputy Highway Supervisor.  His family still lives In Valley Stream and that gives him the drive to help make Valley Stream a great Place to live. He says that he is proud to be part of this Committee that does so much for its community!!!
